Office Re-Opening

After having to close the doors to the office for the past few months to comply with New York state and CDC guidelines, I’d like to share that the office will re-open next week for in-person acupuncture treatments.

Acupuncture has been assigned to an "essential service" category so I am able to re-open, slowly and with caution, and provide acupuncture treatments once again. While there are new procedures that we all need to adhere to, I want to reassure you that the personal attention and care I have always provided is still at the center of our work together.

I am really happy and excited to re-open the office and be able to support your health and well-being. It has been difficult for me not to be able to see patients in the office during this time since I know how beneficial acupuncture can be for dealing with aches and pains, as well as the physical symptoms of stress and anxiety. We have all been under increased stress due to the uncertainties and strains that the last few months have placed on us.

Patient safety is my top priority and all measures adopted are in accordance with New York state, CDC, and state/national acupuncture association guidelines at a minimum. I am focused on making treatments as safe and clean as possible by doing the following:

  • No patients are allowed in the office if they are currently exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 (or if they have any time in the past two weeks)

  • Patients must wear a face mask to their appointments and wear their mask at all times in the clinic (I will be also)

  • Patients must arrive at their specified appointment times and must notify me when they are outside so that time in the waiting area is minimized

  • Patients must wash their hands as soon as they enter the office

  • Hand sanitizer and soap will be available throughout the office

  • No guests are allowed in the waiting area

  • Appointments are spaced out to make sure there is only one patient in the office at any given time

  • There are no late cancellation fees so there is no pressure on coming in for your appointment if you are not feeling well
